In Tribute to Grandmaster Christopher Ricketts

On October 5th, 2010, the Chief Instructor of Bakbakan International, Christopher Ricketts,  passed away. He is survived by his wife and four children.

Grandmaster Ricketts was a skilled fighter with both empty hand and weapons, basing his training and instruction on good execution of the basics and on full contact sparring.

IAlong with Bakbakan International, Grandmaster Ricketts was also a senior member in the Kali Illustrisimo orgainzation. 

Grandmaster Ricketts made tremendous contributions to the world of martial arts especially in Filipino stick fighting. He has trained numerous champions and transmitted his art to skilled fighters throughout his life. We will always honor his memory.
